Our clinic has the ability to see appointments for a wide variety of medical issues in dogs and cats. Skin irritations, endocrine problems, ear infections, allergies, respiratory infections, and heart problems are just a few of the conditions that we evaluate daily. We also provide counseling for new pet and puppy owners. We then follow your pet through the changes in their life and adjust to their needs accordingly. When your pet becomes a senior, around the age of seven, we start recommending yearly blood work to check kidney and liver functions to further assess your pet’s health. We also talk about diet changes and the care needed specifically for senior pets.
Our staff and doctors will always strive to give you the best advice to keep your pet healthy. This would include yearly heartworm and fecal tests, yearly bloodwork, dental care, year-round heartworm and internal parasite protection, and spaying and neutering your pet. We are happy to give advice on the most successful ways to prevent and treat flea and tick infestations, and have the most up to date medications available. We recommend yearly vaccination programs including those for Parvovirus, Distemper, Rabies, Lyme disease, and Feline Leukemia (FELV). Weight counseling is another service that we offer for your pet. Our doctors and staff are well trained and equipped to handle sick and emergency visits as well. If we are unable to provide the care your pet needs, we offer referrals to top specialists.
